Born Into the Work
Walt's gift did not arrive by choice — it arrived by lineage. Raised in a household where the veil between the living and the ancestral was thin, Walt was introduced to divination as a child through the practices of his grandmother, a respected spiritual elder in her community. What began as observation became apprenticeship, and what began as apprenticeship became a lifelong calling.
Over decades of practice, Walt deepened his study across multiple traditions — West African Ifá, Caribbean Spiritism, and the broader African Diaspora spiritual systems that traveled through the Americas. He has sat with elders, completed initiations, and spent years in dedicated study to ensure that what he brings to each session is grounded, responsible, and rooted in authentic lineage.
